Rare Prototype W.W. Marston Double Action Three-Barrel Derringer Pistol
Serial no. 3, .31 percussion caliber, 4-inch barrel cluster, maker, New-York City and
1857 patent date on left side of barrel cluster in top flute; blued finish. Varnished
walnut grips.
Condition: Excellent. 70% blue, primarily on barrel cluster; frame
flaking and balance turning age brown; grips excellent with 97% varnish.
Note: Approximately 10 produced, approximately 7 known to collectors.
