Excellent L.D. Nimschke-Engraved Marston Three-Barrel Derringer Pistol, with
Mother-of-Pearl Grips
Serial no. 4, .32 rimfire caliber, 4-inch barrel cluster, maker, New-York and 1857
patent date and Improved 1864 on left side of silver-plated and scroll engraved brass
frame, barrel cluster also engraved, the decoration by L.D. Nimschke; blued barrel
cluster; case-hardened hammer and trigger. Mother-of-pearl grips.
Condition: Excellent. 90% blue on barrels; traces silver on frame.
Excellent grips with fine color.
Note: One of the finest known examples of engraved Marston pistols by Nimschke.
