Fine and Rare Presentation Inscribed Pocket Size Philadelphia Deringer by Henry

.41 caliber percussion, barrel breech and lock marked DERINGER/PHILADELA; German silver
band inlays at barrel breech with P within sunburst motif; 2-inch barrel with faceted top,
simulated damascus finish; German silver mounts; thumbpiece escutcheon inscribed:
H.M./to/G.A.N.; capbox in butt. Engraved lock and mounts and barrel tang. Overall length 4
3/4-inches.
Condition: Excellent. 95% finish on barrel; 75% case-hardening; 95%
varnish.
Note: The inscription is to a person whose full initials were G.A.A.N. The second A is
made into a monogram with the N.
