Rare Boxed Walch Pocket Model 10-Shot Revolver
Serial no. 222, .31 caliber, 10-shot cylinder, 3 3/8-inch octagonal barrel with maker,
New-York address and patent date marking, blued, with case-hardened double hammers and
silver-plated and engraved brass frame; varnished walnut grips. Pasteboard box with dark
exterior, pasteboard partitions with scroll and fluted powder flask, cap tin, L-shaped
screwdriver/nipple wrench, steel cleaning rod and wood-handled screwdriver.
Condition: Excellent. 85% blue on cylinder, 55% on barrel; 92%
silver; grips with 97% varnish, minor marks; hammers with 45% case-hardening. Mechanism
needs minor adjustment. Box fine, with stains and one piece of partitioning separated.
