Whitney "Hooded Cylinder" Pocket Percussion Revolver
Serial no. 103, .28 caliber percussion, 6-shot cylinder with etched decoration, 5
1/8-inch octagonal barrel, with maker and address marking on top; blued with silver-plated
brass frame and cylinder hood, with patent markings on both sides; varnished walnut grips.
Condition: Very good to fine. 35% blue on barrel; balance turning
brown, including on cylinder, with fine scene. 85% silver-plating. 85% varnish remain on
grips.
