Serial no. 80, .42 caliber percussion, 5 1/4-inch part round, part octagonal smoothbore
barrel, German silver mounting to walnut grip; marking on topstrap including maker,
address and American eagle and shield, plus light engraving. CAST-STEEL/CANTON CONN. also
on left side of barrel at breech.
Condition: Very good. Gray and brown patina; minor pitting; wear.
