Rare Boxed Eagle Arms Company Pocket Revolver
Serial no. 4433, .32 rimfire caliber, 6-shot, 3 1/2-inch barrel, with maker and New
York address marking on top rib, blued, with silver-plated brass frame, varnished rosewood
grips. Pasteboard box with picture of revolver and "Six Shooter" and other
advertising on hinged lid. Lid interior with directions, and noting sale by Merwin &
Bray, 262 Broadway, New York; with cartridge box marked Eagle Arms Co. and with partial
complement of obsolete cartridges.
Condition: Excellent. 85% blue, faint tracking lines on cylinder,
light patina and minor pitting; 98% silver, minor tarnish; excellent grips with minor
storage marks and small chip on right panel. Box fine with light stains and wear,
separations, and minor repair. Lid imprint bright.
