Excellent Savage Arms Co. Military Model 1907 Automatic Pistol
Serial no. 102, .45 caliber, 5 1/2-inch barrel, 8 shot magazine, blued, with
case-hardened trigger; standard markings of top of barrel of caliber, maker, Utica, N.Y.
address, and patent date Nov. 21, 1905; checkered walnut grips.
Condition: Excellent. 98% blue, light storage marks and patina on
left side of butt.
Note: Total production of approximately 300; one of the rarest of American automatic
pistols, of which 200 purchased by U.S. government for issue to Cavalry for field trials
(c. 1908-09). Appears to be unfired.
