Rare Springfield Arms Co. Single Trigger Belt Model Revolver, Without Loading Lever
Serial no. 14, .31 caliber percussion, 6-shot cylinder with etched decoration; 4-inch
round barrel; maker marking on topstrap; Warner's patent 1851 marking on right side of
frame; frame with leaf style engraving, also on backstrap, buttstrap, triggerguard,
topstrap and hammer; blued finish, with silver-plated frame and triggerguard. Varnished
walnut grips.
Condition: Fine. Gray patina, with traces blue; cylinder scene fine,
brown patina; 60% silver on frame and triggerguard; 95% varnish remains on grips.
