Serial no. 476. 16 x 16 gauge by 9.3x72R. 27-inch barrels with matted flat rib with
automatic rising rear sight. Case-hardened sculpted and scalloped action with 80% coverage
of fine foliate scroll and geometric designs. Greener-style cross bolt. Extractor.
Adjustable front set-trigger. Cocking indicators. Rifle barrel selector on tang.
Greener-style side safety. Side clips. Finely checkered pistolgrip stock of slightly
figured walnut. Horn grip cap and buttplate. Cheekpiece. Cartridge trap with hinged lid in
butt. Finely checkered splinter fore-end with Deeley-style release.
Condition: Very Good, as partially redone. Barrels show 70-80% brown
patina. Bright shotgun bores. Rifle barrel shows worn rifling with pitting. Action and
furniture show a silver-brown patina. Refinished wood shows handling marks and the stock a
deep nick. Refreshed checkering.
