with K. Krahling Telescopic Sight
Serial no. 332997, 16 gauge side by side 23 5/8-inch barrels with full chokes, 7 x 57R
caliber lower center barrel; each shotgun barrel marked KRUPP - LAUFSTRHL; J.P. SAUER
& SOHN SUHL on each side of frame; light scroll and border engraving, including on
triggerguard and top lever; proof on bottom of each shotgun barrel includes eagle motif
over N; matted center rib with folding rear sight marked 100; silver bead front sight on
blade inserted at muzzle; sideclips on frame recoil shield; 4 x 81 and maker marked on
eyepiece mount of telescopic sight on quick detachable claw mounts; manual safety
including sliding switch on left side of stock above double triggers; sliding switch with
button on upper tang the rifle barrel selector and rear sight lock, marked "S";
set trigger for bottom center rifle barrel; sling swivels. Firing indicators on top of
frame adjacent to barrel release thumb lever. Blued, with case-hardened boxlock frame,
forend mounts, triggerguard and frame bottom plate. Varnished checkered select walnut
stock with splinter fore-end, lever fore-end release; crescent cheekpiece; fluted horn
pistolgrip cap; Pachmayr rubber buttpad.
Condition: Excellent. 95% blue; 80% case-hardening, balance fading;
light wear and nicks, primarily on stocks. Fine bores. Buttpad possibly of later date.
Scope fine; wear and patina to ring mount at front and rear, as well as to knurled
adjustment rings.
