Serial no. 11867. 16/16 gauge by 8x57JR. 26-inch Krupp steel barrels. Matted flat rib
with automatic flip-up rear sight. Border engraved blued back-action sidelock action
marked: Krieghoff Neptun Drilling. Adjustable set front trigger. Extractor. Side clips.
Greener-style crossbolt. Pivioting safety selector on left side of action. Cocking
indicators. Rifle barrel action cocking lever on left side. Finely checkered pistolgrip
stock of figured dark walnut with a lowered heel. Steel triggerguard with horn lower tang.
Cheekpiece. Horn buttplate and hard rubber grip cap. Finely checkered splinter fore-end
with Deeley-style release. Sling swivels.
Condition: Fine. Barrels and action show 90 - 95% bluing with some
fading and fine spotting. Bright shotgun bores. Bright rifle bore with well-defined
rifling. Right lock does not remain cocked. Barrels/action show slight looseness.
Individual's names lightly scratched in the sides of the stock. Wood shows nicks,
scratches and impressions. Fore-end checkering shows an area of losses.
