American Fullstock New England-New York Flintlock Rifle, Signed Adams, with Silver
Wire Inlay
.52 caliber, 40 3/4-inch octagonal barrel with open sights; lockplate marked ADAMS, and
with light engraving; brass patchbox and mountings; oval silver thumbpiece escutcheon and
silver wire inlay at upper tang; varnished walnut stock with cheekpiece; hickory ramrod
with brass tip.
Condition: Very good to fine. Gray patina to steel, pitting; stock
with light wear, nicks. crack at triggerplate and lock up to thumbpiece escutcheon, with
old reglue. Light repair to silver wire stock inlay.
