Officers Kentucky Flintlock Pistol of Late Revolutionary War and War of 1812, with H.
Meacham & Co. Lock
.64 caliber smoothbore, 8 3/4-inch round barrel with British proofmarks at breech;
H/MEACHAM/& Co/WARRANTED on lockplate, with light engraving. 13 stars stamped at
barrel breech; barrel breech markings appear to be M/U/M. Brass mountings, including brass
quarter moon sideplate; varnished American walnut stock; hickory ramrod.
Condition: Very good. Brown patina to steel, with pitting; mellow
brass patina; stock worn and with nicks, mars, and light cracks; 70% varnish.
Note: Pistol produced in America, using British and American parts.
