.410 Unmarked Belgian-Proved Hammer Double Barrel Shotgun
Serial no. 11579. .410. 29 5/8-inch barrels with a slightly concave matted rib. Rib
extension with Greener-style cross bolt. Casehardened action with bar-action rebounding
locks. Foliate scroll engraving. Checkered half-pistol grip stock of straight grain
walnut. Horn grip cap and buttplate. Checkered splinter fore-end with Anson release.
Condition: Very Good, as partially redone. Barrels show 90-95%
reblued finish. Bores show pitting with some deeper pits near breech. Action shows a
silver-gray patina. Action/barrels show looseness. Right lock does not function; sear tail
is not engaging the trigger blade. Stock shows older refinish with handling marks.
Checkering shows some filling.
