J.P. Sauer Side-by-Side Boxlock Sporting Shotgun
Serial no. 135200, 12 gauge, full and improved chokes, 26-inch barrels with matted rib,
German silver bead front sight; Prussia and various proofmarks on bottom of barrels at
breech; fine scroll and border engraved frame, toplever and triggerguard, as well as
fore-end mounts; blued, with case-hardened frame; double triggers; extractors; automatic
safety; lever release fore-end; checkered pistolgrip select walnut stocks with composition
buttplate. Very good bores. Length of pull 14 1/4-inches.
Condition: Very good. Brown patina, traces blue on barrels; frame
with gray patina; stocks with wear, nicks, mars.
