Rare and Exceptional U.S. Springfield Lee Model 1875 Vertical Action Rifle
Unserialized. .45-70 caliber, 32 5/8-inch barrel with hooded front sight and
ladder-type rear sight. Two barrel bands. Blued finish. Walnut stock with ESA cartouche.
Steel ramrod. Stacking swivel.
Condition: Excellent to mint. Retaining approximately 90-95% finish
with scattered light wear to relief edges and buttplate. Wood excellent with a few minor
marks. Mirror bright bore.
Note: Only 143 of this model were manufactured. This example made in 1875.
