Rare Joseph Henry U.S. Navy Contract Model 1812 Flintlock Pistol
.58 caliber smoothbore, 10-inch pin-fastened round barrel, eagle head over CT sunken
mark on breech; pointed terminus lock with J. HENRY/PHILA marking forward of hammer; brass
mountings; steel with browned finish; walnut stock and ramrod. Steel belt hook secured by
rear sideplate screw.
Condition: Very good. Brown patina to steel, with pitting, nicks,
mars; stock with nicks, marks; repair to belthook.
