Fine U.S. Army William Marston Manufacture Percussion Signal Pistol, with Low Serial
Number and Dated 1861
Serial no. 73, percussion cap ignition; all brass construction with steel hammer and
spur trigger; marked on bottom of frame: U.S. ARMY SIGNAL PISTOL, with inspector initials
AJM and date, 1861. Overall length 8 5/8-inches.
Condition: Fine. Mellow patina to brass.
Note: Approximately 500 produced.
