Breechloading Flintlock Rifle, Dated 1838
.52 caliber, 32 5/8-inch rifled barrel with open sights and three pinned barrel bands.
Case-hardened hammer and breechblock marked: J.H. Hall/H. Ferry/U.S./1838. Brown lacquer
finish. Standard walnut stock. Steel ramrod, Sling mounts.
Condition: Excellent to mint, retaining approximately 95-99% finish
with only slight handling wear in evidence.
