Rare Type II Flat Lock A.H. Waters & Co. Percussion Pistol
.54 caliber, rifled 8 1/2-inch round and unmarked barrel; steel mountings; eagle head
over A.H. WATERS & Co/MILBURY MASS on lockplate forward of hammer; odd mark stamped on
square end to nipple bolster. M on triggerguard front tang. No inspector cartouche
markings on oil-finished walnut stock. Lock has round curve at rear. Note rear sight
mounted on upper tang of barrel.
Condition: Fine. Gray patina, minor surface pitting; markings fine.
Stock with light nicks and marks.
