Serial no. 72121, .44 caliber, 27-inch barrel with pedestal front sight and dovetailed
open rear sight. Breech marked: 1-1000. Brass frame. Walnut stocks. Brass buttplate with
cleaning rod reservoir. Sling mounts. Sold together with rare original socket bayonet.
Condition: Good. Barrel with grey-brown patina and scattered light
pitting. Brass with mellow age patina. Wood with heavy wear and prolific dents and
bruises. Bayonet with grey patina and scattered light pitting. Action needs repair.
