Professionally Restored Winchester Model 1866 Lever Action Sporting Rifle
Serial no. 42280, .44 rimfire, 24-inch octagonal barrel, plain brass; blued barrel and
magazine; oil-finished stocks; sling swivels. No cleaning rod present.
Condition: Fine as restored. Refinished barrel retaining
approximately 90% blue, fading. Front sight and hammer possible replacements. Forward
trigger spring a possible replacement. Gun appears to be completely and professionally
restored by previous owner.Minor nicks to stocks; excellent bore.
Note: This restoration is a beautiful example of a Model 1866 which command a large
premium if all original.
