"MAUSER BANNER COMMERCIAL LUGER. SN 1795. Cal. 9 mm. Scarce late Luger with 4" bbl, Mauser banner on front toggle link & eagle "N" proof on the left side receiver & "P.08" on left side of frame. Safety area is marked "GESICHERT" in top position & extractor is marked "GELADEN". All small parts are blued. Fitted with full checkered walnut grips. Accompanied by one orig matching numbered aluminum base magazine. Scarce Luger in hard to find condition. PROVENANCE: Doug Smith Collection. CONDITION: Extraordinarily fine, all matching including magazine, grips are unnumbered but fit perfectly. Overall retains about 99%+ strong orig factory blue. Grips are crisp with a few chipped diamonds & nice wood grain showing through with no hand grease in checkering. Magazine is near mint.
