Colt Model 1862 Police Percussion Revolver
Serial no. 29766, .36 caliber, 4 1/2-inch barrel with single-line New York address.
5-shot cylinder. Blued finish. Case-hardened lever, hammer and frame. Brass triggerguard
and gripstrap assembly. Varnished walnut grips.
Condition: Good to very good. Retaining approximately 25-30% finish,
primarily in protected areas, the remainder with grey-brown age patina. Case-hardened
elements retaining traces of vibrant color. Grips good with wear and minor dents to butt.
Action needs attention as cylinder does not advance when hammer is cocked.
