Exceptional Carved Bohemian Staghorn Powder Flask, c. 1837
The fine intaglio relief-carved staghorn flask with pictorial scene of two hunters
under a tree preparing to dress a deer carcass with dog standing by. The reverse with
carved armorial with rampant horses and lion. Top with brass three-position charger
marked: Patented. Bottom of flask with thin rectangular ivory escutcheon marked in ink:
den 16t Mai 1837. Size: 8 1/2-inches tall.
Condition: Excellent with light wear and age patina.
