Fine German Mother-of-Pearl Pistol Priming Flask, c. 1680
The unique and ornate priming flask, the body formed of two shells of pearl, mounted in
a gilt brass filigree frame with floral-engraved gilt collar and surmounted by a stopper,
the finial in the form of the Hapsburg double-headed eagle with fine chain lanyard. Size:
4-inches wide.
Condition: Fine. Minor wear and losses to outer frame with light age
patina overall. Pearl excellent with light age wear.
