Serial no. 1189, .28 caliber percussion, 3 5/8-inch barrel cluster, 5-shot, one barrel
rib with maker, another with address, and next with PATENT 1849; scroll and border
engraved frame, barrel breech and backstrap; blued, with browned barrel cluster; varnished
walnut grips. Varnished mahogany case lined in green velvet; rare accessories marked
Robbins and Lawrence powder flask, bullet mold, caps and projectiles and case-hardened
maker-marked steel cleaning rod combination tool.
Condition: Excellent. 98% browning on barrel cluster; 80% blue; 98%
varnish on excellent to mint grips; light wear; case excellent with minor wear to interior
and light marks on exterior; accessories excellent.
