Rare Boxed and Deluxe Engraved Brooklyn Firearms Co. Slocum Pocket Revolver,
Silver-Plated with Ivory Grips
Serial no. 8345, .32 caliber rimfire, front-loading, 3-inch round barrel with maker and
patent marking on top, silver-plating, with case-hardened hammer, ivory grips. Fine and
profuse scroll and border engraved frame and barrel, likely by Nimschke or his shop.
Pasteboard box, with steel cleaning rod.
Condition: Excellent with 98% silver-plating, 95% case-hardening on
hammer. Excellent grips with mellow color. Box fine, worn and some separation at corners.
Note: "Mrs. L.J. Kromme" written in pencil inside lid; likely original owner.
Exceptionally fine example of this type revolver.
