Full-Stock Kentucky Percussion Rifle by J. White, Jackson, Ohio
.38 caliber, 32-inch octagonal barrel boldly marked: J.White. German silver blade-type
front sight and open rear sight. Muzzle face with stamped decorative border.
Scroll-engraved lock and hammer. Set triggers. Beautiful tiger maple full-stock with brass
furniture. Scrolling triggerguard. Wooden ramrod. Simple, clean example of a frontier
percussion rifle.
Condition: Very good. Barrel showing dark age patina and scattered
light pitting, mainly around breech. Small insignificant crack in tang. Brass elements
with pleasant age patina. Wood very good with nice age patina and a few insignificant
marks and blemishes.
