Spencer Repeating Carbine Made in 1864
Serial no. 49324, 52 caliber, 22-inch round barrel with standard military sights.
Six-groove rifling. Case-hardened hammer, frame, lever and buttplate. Saddle ring and bar.
Walnut stocks with faint cartouche present behind saddle ring bar. Sling mount.
Condition: Fine to excellent. Barrel retaining 90-95% finish, now
fading to a rich plum brown. Traces of case-hardening remaining in protected areas.
Buttstock with stable hairline crack on left side. Minor dents and bruises. Two tiny holes
drilled in front of fore-end, use unknown.
