Exceptional Spencer Model 1865 Repeating Carbine
Serial no. 20851, .50 caliber [chambered for the famed .56-50 Spencer cartridge],
20-inch round barrel with standard military sights. Blued finish. Marked at breech: M
1865/European crown V proofs. Case-hardened hammer, frame, lever and buttplate. Stabler
cut-off. Walnut stocks with crisp EAW and DAP cartouches.
Condition: Excellent to mint. Retaining approximately 95-99% finish
with minor wear to relief edges. Exceptionally vibrant case-hardening. Wood near mint with
only minor marks.
