U.S. Harpers Ferry Model 1816 Flintlock Musket
.69 caliber, 42-inch barrel with bayonet lug and three iron bands. Marked at breech: US
[within oval]/eaglehead over "P". Lock marked: eagle with US on
shield/Harpers/Ferry/1816. Standard walnut stock with v/JL script cartouche/V. Letter
"C" behind lower tang. Ramrod with "N" stamp. Sling mounts.
Condition: Very good to fine. Metal with grey-brown age patina with
scattered wear and pitting. Wood very good with scattered light wear and marks.
