"SWISS MAUSER LUGER 1906/34 COMMERCIAL. SN 1896. Cal. 30. Rare configuration, Model 1906 style with 4-3/4" bbl and grip safety. It has long frame and was made for Switzerland by Mauser in the 1930's. It has the Geneva cross and sunburst over chamber with a Mauser banner on toggle link. It has Oberndorf proof on left front side of receiver and an orig aluminum base magazine. Mounted with beautiful full checkered walnut grips. A truly unique & stylish Luger. PROVENANCE: Doug Smith Collection. CONDITION: Extremely fine, all matching except firing pin which is unnumbered. Overall retains about 98% beautiful, bright strong orig factory blue & about 98% straw colors. Grips are sharp with beautiful grain with only two or three slightly chipped diamonds showing only very minimal wear. Magazine is near mint. Grip screws retain about 65% fire blue.
